Dr. Shannon Munz
Welcome! I’m Dr. Shannon Munz, a doctoral-trained, double board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and the founder of Ellipsis Psychiatry.
My approach is grounded, thoughtful, and highly individualized. I work with people navigating everything from anxiety, burnout, depression, mood symptoms to larger personal, relational, and professional turning points. Whether life feels slightly off or completely overwhelming, my goal is to help you make sense of what’s happening early, and build a clear, realistic path forward. I want every patient to feel seen, understood, and empowered to make choices that align with the life they truly want to build.
Amanda Ribeiro
Amanda Ribeiro is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner serving the South Florida community. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from Stony Brook University, followed by an Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing, a Master of Science as a Family Nurse Practitioner, and a Post-Master’s Certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from the University of Miami.
Amanda brings together advanced clinical training and a deeply patient-centered approach to care. She works with individuals navigating mood disorders, anxiety, ADHD, trauma, disordered eating, and substance use, offering treatment that is thoughtful, individualized, and grounded in each patient’s unique needs and goals.
With prior experience in high-acuity medical and surgical settings, Amanda offers a nuanced understanding of the relationship between mental and physical health. Her approach is compassionate, holistic, and designed to meet patients where they are while supporting meaningful, lasting wellness.
